BIR Recognizes FICOBank during the 2016 Regional Tax
Campaign Kick-Off

FICOBank, as represented by its President & Chief Executive Officer, Atty. Hubert E. Molina, has been recognized by the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR), as one of the Top Withholding Tax Agents/Partners, during its 2016 Regional Tax Campaign Kick-Off. The recognition rite was held on February 22, 2016 at the Pulsar Hotel in Alimannao, Tuguegarao City.

The highlights of the affair were the awarding of the Plaque of Appreciation to various BIR-Partners and Top Individual and Corporate Taxpayers, and the pledge of support to their stakeholders. The theme of the event, “ANGAT PA PINAS! Do your Share, Pay Your Correct Taxes,” aims to promote the participation of individual and corporate citizens in nation building through continuous payment of correct taxes.

Regional Director Atty. Arnel SD Guballa acknowledged the support of all sectors in the payment of correct taxes. He also read the message of Deputy Commissioner Cecelia King, who missed the event due to intemperate weather condition that cancelled her flight to Tuguegarao City. In her message, she gave emphasis to Commissioner Kim S. Jacinto-Henares’ advocacy to improve the collection of taxes needed to ensure the delivery of the basic government services, as well as the need to collaborate and help one another to build a strong country and shape a better future for the present and future generations.

The kick-off program was attended by participants coming from the Cagayan Valley Region—comprising of the provinces of Isabela, Nueva Vizcaya, Quirino, Batanes and Cagayan.
