Chairperson's Statement

The year 2025 stands as a year of success worth celebrating for FICOBank, as its theme, “Innovating the FICOBanking Experience for Sustainability,” resonates deeply in the hearts and minds of the people it serves.
This year, the resources of FICOBank continue to increase from a recorded Php4.32 billion in 2020, achieving a very significant feat in 2025 by making our Bank’s resources sixfold in just five years. With total assets of Php6.38 billion as of end-December 2025, FICOBank truly portrays a BETTER, BIGGER, and STRONGER bank within its sector. With this, I strongly believe that our Bank is capable of reaching greater heights and sustaining its growth in the years ahead.
The Bank’s capital also posted a significant increase of Php645.02 million, rising from Php1.21 billion in 2020 to Php1.86 billion in 2025—an achievement that has greatly contributed to what FICOBank is today. The growth in capital is broken down into Php70.26-million preferred shares, Php157.29-million common shares, Php45.00-million stock dividends distributable, Php752.46-million surplus reserves and Php832.29-million surplus free.
On a year-on-year basis, the capital of the Bank rose by 8.94 percent from Php1.70 billion in 2024 to Php1.86 billion in 2025. Hence, as of 31 December 2025, the Bank’s capital adequacy ratio (CAR) stood at 26.03 percent—well above regulatory requirements—reaffirming the Bank’s strong financial footing.
The amount of the Bank’s capital remains adequate at all times to meet obligations, absorb potential losses and expand our banking operation even more.
Despite external political and economic uncertainties—which have contributed to cautious business sentiment and renewed calls for strengthening the anti-money laundering and counterterrorism financing regime—our Bank sustained a strong deposit level at Php3.05 billion as of end-December 2025, reflecting the continued trust and confidence of the public in the Bank.
Beyond the figures, the intangibles are equally significant—such as the satisfaction and loyalty of our clients; the high morale and job fulfillment of our employees; the confidence and contentment of our directors; the trust and appreciation of our stockholders; and the joy of the communities whose lives have been positively transformed by our Bank. Added to these are strong customer awareness, a solid corporate brand, a loyal client base, and a respected position in the marketplace.
All these intangible assets are vital to the Bank’s long-term success and stability. As such, we remain committed to nurturing and preserving them as we continue to grow.
For achieving this remarkable milestone in 2025, we thank you—our FICOBank family and valued stakeholders—for your unwavering support, trust, and loyalty. United in purpose, we stay anchored to “Sustaining Resilient Banking Experience for the People,” as we strive to achieve even greater milestones in 2026 and beyond.
To God be all the Glory!
